Officer Elections WEDNESDAY!

We will be electing new officers for the 2013-2014 school year Wednesday, May 8th, at 6:30pm in Engineering E104. All 5 positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Events Coordinator) are open to run for. Even if you don't run, come vote and have your say in the future of IEEE here at CSU.

The Open Design Competition is Starting!!!!!!

The Open Design Competition is, in our opinion, one of the greatest competitions ever devised.  Anyone, from any major, with any expertise can make absolutely anything that they want.  For the people who don't have a lot of experience in electronics, we hold workshops that teach everything from the basics of turning on LED's to making more advanced robotics.  If you haven't already, please register at bit.ly/WGXVch.  It looks great on your resume, in interviews, and there are some fantastic perks for people who compete.

Zombie and Pizza Night

IEEE is throwing a zombie movie and pizza night in Clark A101 on Tuesday, December 20th at 7pm. Anyone from any major is welcome to attend, so bring all of your geeky/nerdy/zombie-loving friends.

We are asking for $3 / person to help cover the cost of the pizza. If you plan on going, shoot me an email at removed email address or join the event on facebook here.

As far as movie choices, I was thinking either Shaun of the Dead or the Dawn of the Dead. We could do another zombie movie, but these are a good start.
